MLL’s 2012 Recap

Since I knocked out a lot of “firsts” in 2012 I thought I’d do a quick recap of all the fun, exciting, sweaty, sometimes painful and tear-filled places it took me.

That's ME!

That’s ME!

February 2012: My first running-related adventure of the year wasn’t a race or a marathon, it was something total different, something I’ll never forget.  In December 2011 I was lucky enough to be chosen by Newton Running to be featured Continue reading

REVIEW: Color Me Rad Vancouver 5k

Date Of Event: August 18, 2012

Price: $45.00 Proceeds going to Keep-A-Breast Canada, and 15% of my registration was donated to Going Coastal.

Review: The 2010 Harrison To Haney 100km Relay and Ultra Marathon (H2H)

As I began to look into the details of the race I was happy to read that a portion of the proceeds were going to the local food bank, big points right off the bat!  The entry fee for an 8-member team was $520.00 + taxes, which worked out to approx. $80/team member. Continue reading
