It’s my favorite time of year again, the time for spending time with loved ones around the Christmas tree, drinking eggnog, eating cookies and sitting on a fat man wearing a red suit’s lap! YAY for Christmas! Here you’ll find an assortment of some of my favorite things as well as some of my gift giving ideas and stocking stuffers for the active person on your gift-giving list, assuming they’re on the nice list 😉
Stuff those stockings with some of these goodies:
PocketFuel: These are my FAVORITE nut butters to snack on while I’m keeping active. They come in a variety of different, mouth-watering flavors, my faves are Vanilla Haze, Chocolate Haze and of course Pineapple Coconut! Great for stocking stuffers!
Oiselle Randies: I LOVE these cheeky little undies! Not only are they made of technical fabric to wick away moisture while you’re getting sweaty, they also make your butt look super cute!
Injinji Toe Socks: You all know that I’m a toe socks, or no socks kind of girl. 🙂 So why not stuff a pair of these functional and cute socks into your loved-ones stocking, they’ll love them for running in, cycling, in or eating cookies in. 😉 My personal favorites are the RUN 2.0 Lightweight No-show socks!
Road ID Wrist band: If you love the endurance athlete in your life they absolutely need one of these ID bracelets under the tree this year. Not only are they cute to wear, but they could help save your life. Customize their Road ID wrist band by getting it engraved with all of their emergency contact info, so if something happens to them while they’re out for a run, ride or other adventure, all of the most important info is right there on their wrist.
Lululemon Keepin’ It Cozy Mittens: These mittens are like cozy, warm hugs for your chilly hands. They are made of merino wool and lined with fleece and come in a variety of colors. I LOVE mine so much, and I’m sure any one you give them to will love them just the same!
Strava Annual Premium Subscription: For the stats and numbers nerd in your life, give the gift of a 1-year Premium membership for Strava. They’ll love all the added features, tips and training tools that it gives them beyond the awesomeness of the free membership!
Race Entry: My personal favorite gift to give and receive! 🙂 As someone who does multiple races a year, those entry fees can really add up! Make sure to do your research prior to purchasing race entry for someone else. Pick a race you know is on their wish list, a race that’s within their distance range and a race that they are able make arrangements to travel to, local races are good for this reason.
There you have it my running babes, my list of last-minute gifts for the athlete in your life. What are you hoping to find under the tree this year? I want to wish each and every one of you a VERY merry christmas, and a happy and safe new year! You guys have shown me awesome support, encouragement and love this year and I can’t thank you enough, you guys are all amazing! Here’s to a great 2014!
xoxo, MLL
