Lululemon Haul

It’s been a while since I really updated my running/workout wardrobe so I decided to treat myself to a few new items. As you may have seen already, I got myself a sexy new pair of Newton’s as well as a hot-pink pair of CEP compression socks, which by the way, I’m absolutely LOVING! I also recently did some retail therapy at my local Lululemon store and picked up a few pieces that I thought I’d share with you all.  Below you’ll find photos of my new goodies along with a brief description and in the coming weeks I’ll be posting reviews on the Lululemon products, the shoes and the compression socks, so keep your eyes peeled for that!

Flow Y Bra IV – $42.00 –  Size 2: I already own this exact bra in a different color, but it was time to update! I love this particular style because the slim straps and racer back allows for a lot of movement without any restriction, and the back also has a mesh insert which is great for breathability.  The bra is made out of Lulu’s signature Luon.

Dash Tank II – $52.00 – Size 4: I was WAY overdue for a new running tank. I fell in love with this one the instant the material touched my body! The luon seems extra soft to me for some reason, the fit is perfect and the torso is nice and long for us taller girls!

Gather Short – $48.00 – Size 4: Although these shorts aren’t specifically designed for running I intend on using them for that purpose as well as for hot yoga. I’ve been lusting after getting a pair of tight, booty-flattering, short shorts and I’ve finally found some. 😉  They are made with the 4 way stretch luon and have a really cute, flattering gathered waist band to boot!

Wunder Under Pant – $78.00 – Size 2: Every girl should own a pair of these! They are the most flattering tights that I’ve ever slipped into.  I’ve only owned them for a few days and have already wore them a couple times! Dress ’em up or wear them totally casual with a cute white-V neck tee and a pair of flats like I did to the movies last night. 🙂

Vinyasa Scarf – $48.00 – O/S:  Okay, okay…I know it’s a little early to be thinking scarfs, but I know how hot items like this one fly off the shelves of the Lululemon stores so I snagged one right away.  This scarf literally feels like a portable cuddle! SO soft, and cozy, I think I’m in love…or at least lust 😉 The cool part about this scarf is that it’s so versatile, it can be worn numerous ways!

Lastly, here are my new shoes and compression socks.  A huge thank you to the amazing staff at Forerunners in Vancouver, the ONLY store here that carries Newtons! The guy that helped me was extremely patient and knowledgeable and on top of that he gave me a really, really generous discount on my shoes and my CEP socks!

Newton Distance U Light Weight Universal Trainer – $155.00 (minus discount) – Size 9: I’ve said it time and time again, I just love Newton’s, the company and what they stand for.  My feet have been so happy since first stepping into my first pair of Newton’s 7 months ago. I can’t wait to tackle the Portland Marathon in these pink babies!

CEP Running O2 Compression Socks – $59.00 (minus discount) – Size 3:  My hunt for new compression socks is finally over! I was a big fan of the Lululemon compression socks but they don’t make them any more (to my knowledge).  In the little time I’ve had these ones, they are scoring major points. The compression feels GREAT and they look super cute in hot pink too!

So there you have it! A little dose of Mile Long Leg’s retail therapy! I’m so excited about all my new gear and can’t wait to put it all to good use!  And don’t worry about all the black and grey…remember, there’s a hot pink party going on on my feet and lower legs 😉

xoxo, MLL
