Mile Long Legs

Here’s my review on my recently purchased Luluemon Run:Swiftly Tech LS shirt, to be more precise, the exact one on my “Lusting After” list.

I’ve had the chance to run in this performance top over the past few weeks numerous times, in the rain, in below zero temps, wind, sleet, sun, you name it and so far it’s been great. It’s made of lightweight wicking material to help keep you dry, it also features mesh venting for breathability and is seamless to avoid any nasty chafing. The shirt fits close to the body and is great for layering. So far I’ve run with it on it’s own (over a sports bra) as well as layered up underneath a t-shirt and my running jacket, it managed to keep me cool and breezy when I needed it and worked really great as a base layer for those chilly 6am runs. One of the things I really like about this shirt is it’s dimensions, the bodice and the sleeves are nice and long and feature thumbholes, I’m a fairly tall girl (5’9″) and nothing bugs me more than a shirt with sleeves that are too short or a shirt that’s just too short in general! My one minor gripe about this shirt is the snag-factor!  I LOVE, LOVE, LOOOOVE this material, but ladies, if you have jewelry on or your nails aren’t smoothly filed down, dress with caution! This material snags pretty easily, that being said, I’d still recommend this shirt over and over and over again.

Overall I really love this shirt, so much in fact that I’m now looking to add the short-sleeve version and the racerback tank version of it to my collection. This will definitely be one of the main staples of my spring running line up!
